Mall of Qatar delighted visitors over 12 days from December 7th to December 18th with a variety of engaging activities and opportunities for families and friends to share their love and pride of the country. The festive program included Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra performances, daily Ardah shows featuring 12 performers, a henna booth and a traditional kids area with face painting, flag making and balloon modeling amongst other activities.
Throughout the mall, creative artworks from 11 schools have been displayed as part the mall’s very own initiative What Qatar means to you. The project gave the opportunity for schools to showcase their students’ talent and to win cash prizes of up to QR 5,000.
“Qatar National Day is the occasion on which we convey our gratitude to the country and the nation. As the nation’s mall, we are proud to celebrate this day with our community, partners and visitors who have inspired the continued solidarity, growth and prosperity of Qatar.” said Stuart Elder, Chief Executive Officer, Mall of Qatar.
