Qatar, June 2, 2021: Mall of Qatar has recently hosted various media in Qatar for a "scratch and win experience" as part of its successful "Shop and Win" festival.
Mr. Emile Sarkis, Mall of Qatar General Manager, along with the Mall management staff welcomed the media and introduced them to the features of the "Scratch and Win" festival that is currently taking place at Mall of Qatar and runs until June 30. The group followed the safety instructions with a limited number of people wearing masks while ensuring social distance protocols.

Running until June 30, 2021, the "Shop and Win" festival and "Scratch and Win" festival have accomplished colossal success and demand with prizes exceeds 1.7 million Qatari Riyals. Until today, More than 700 winners have received their prizes with a total value of more than QAR 750,000.
To participate in the shopping festival at the Mall of Qatar, visitors need to purchase QAR 200 and above in any of the Mall outlets to be eligible for the draw. They can redeem their receipts with coupons from the Mall customer service desks to leverage a wide range of instant gifts, including Mall of Qatar Gift Cards and in-kind gifts from various stores in the Mall. In addition, they can automatically participate in the "Shop and Win' festival and enter the major raffle draw on Range Rover Velar that will take place on 1st of July at the Oasis stage.

Reiterating its commitment to protect the environment, Mall of Qatar marked Earth Hour yesterday from 8:30PM to 9:30 PM by turning off external streetlights, the façade and the Mall’s logo, while internal and external water features and fountains were also paused for an hour. Doha, Qatar, February 2, 2021: Mall of Qatar welcomes football fans at the Oasis to watch FIFA Club World Cup 2021 taking place in Doha from February 4 to 11 in Education City and Ahmed Bin Ali (Al Rayyan) Stadiums.
The Nation’s Mall offers its visitors the best opportunity to live the excitement by watching the matches on the giant screens at the 360 degrees Oasis stage, giving them an ideal alternative to live watching of the games, and allowing an integrated shopping, dining, and watching experience in a safe environment. The second round occurs on February 7 for the fifth place between the losers of the first two matches at 6 pm.
The big excitement continues in the semi-final round on February 7 at 9 pm between Palmeiras (Brazil) and the winner of the match between Tigres UANL (Mexico) and Ulsan Hyundai FC. Bayern Munich (Germany), the Champions League winner, will start its matches facing the winner between game Al Ahli (Egypt) and Al Duhail (Qatar) on February 8 at 9 pm.
On February 11, the tournament is concluded with the first match for third place at 6 pm, while the final match at 9 pm will crown the champions of the 2021 version.

The Nation’s Mall activity is held under the theme “People live when people give”
Doha, Qatar, January 23, 2021: Mall of Qatar hosted the blood donation campaign 'Qatar, in our blood," organized by Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) last Thursday.
The HMC Blood donation is part of the national campaign "Qatar, It’s in our Blood" aimed to encourage citizens and expats to donate blood and support the strategic blood reserve to respond to emergencies on time. It is also part of Mall of Qatar's corporate social responsibility and local efforts to support national entities, especially medical crews, as well as community members.
Mall of Qatar’s blood donation campaign under the theme “People live when People Give” has received a massive response from the Mall’s employees and staff, as well as shoppers who donated their blood in the dedicated mobile trucks which came to the Mall from 3 PM to 9 PM.

Three prizes in three categories and three ‘People’s Choice’ awards by voting on the social media platforms
Doha, Qatar, January 16: Mall of Qatar has concluded the National Day School Art Competition held during the National day and embraced students from 16 different schools in Qatar. The winners in the competition were announced yesterday, with winning students received valuable prizes from Mall of Qatar management, including Mall of Qatar gift cards worth QAR 5000, QAR 2500, and QAR 1000 for the first, second, and third place winners, respectively.
For the third consecutive year, The National Day School Art Competition is an art contest dedicated to school students to encourage them to express their talents and skills. It is part of the Mall of Qatar's social responsibility program that promotes emerging talents and encourages artistic and cultural initiatives. Besides, the annual competition is recognized as one of the most awaited events during National Day celebrations and receives massive participation every year. Furthermore, the winning artworks were displayed in one of the Mall's hallways as a gesture to acknowledge the young talents' skills.

We aim to encourage our young generations to express their thoughts and dreams through art. This year's theme reflects our passion for the upcoming FIFA 2022 world cup in Qatar. Held under the theme "How does Qatar 2022 look like to you?", students from sixteen different schools submitted 40 drawings that reflect the theme of the contest and demonstrate their artistic skills. The students were divided into three age groups: group 1 included students from 8 – 10 years, group 2 from 11 to 13 years, and group 3 from 14 to 16 years.
The jury panel consisted of Qatari artists Hanadi Al Darwish and Abdulaziz Sadiq, who evaluated the drawings and decided the winners after a fierce competition. In the first category for students from 8 to 10 years, Artist: Shaden AlKhateeb from Al Manar International School Al Saad Branch won the first place, Mohamed Qarni from Mesaieed Primary International School won the second place. Elias Al Shyab from Phoenix Private School won third place.
In the category from 11 to 13 years, Naila Zahra Azka Mirag from Mesaieed International School got the first place, Maya Ahmed from Al Manar International School – Al Thameed Branch won the second place, Hafsa Aamer, Anoosh Khan, & Fabiha Saeed from Mesaieed Primary International School won the third place. In the third category for students for 14 to 16 years, Karthika Purayil from MES. Indian School won the first place, Sandi Aljaber from GEMS American Academy won the second place, and Raghad Adbellatif Abdalla
From Doha Academy – Al Waab Campus got the third place.
In addition, Mall of Qatar gave students and social media followers the chance to vote for the best drawing via an interactive voting portal shared among all participant schools, while added new “People’s Choice” award for followers to vote also through Mall of Qatar social media platforms. The contest attracted a considerable number, with more than 30,000 voters selected their favorite drawings for the top places. In the group of 8 – 10 years, the award went to the student Mohamed Qarni from Mesaieed Primary International School, while Maya Ahmed from Al Manar International School – Al Thameed Branch got the award in the second category (11 – 13 years), and Kinda Al-Bahri from Al Manar International School – Al Saad Branch received the highest number of voters in the third category (14 – 16 years).

Last chance to win one of the last two remaining cars on January 14
Doha, Qatar, January 9, 2020: Mall of Qatar management handed new batch of cars to the winners of "Pick and Choose" shopping festival, including the first grand prize car.
Shoppers still have the opportunity to win one of the last two cars this week, as the Pick and Choose festival will conclude on 14 January 2021 with the final raffle draw on the last two cars. 18 raffle draws took place so far announcing lucky winners who drove back home with 18 fascinating cars.
Number of winners in the month of December received their cars including Marlon Quines who won BME X2, Khalid Al Emadi won Mini Cooper, and Dr. Abubaker Alaib who won the first grand prize BMW 840i Gran Coupe M Sport on the Mall of Qatar Anniversary.

15 May 2024 - Mall of Qatar inaugurated Al-Maha Art Exhibition, a vibrant celebration of Qatar's rich and diverse culture, showcasing creative designs from esteemed educational institutions: Qatar International Primary School, Qatar International Secondary School, American School of Doha, Preparatory School BH, Sherborne Preparatory School AR, Sherborne Qetaf, QFBA-Northumbria University, CUC Ulster University, Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, Step One International school, and the talented artist Mehdi Nabavi.
The launch was celebrated in the presence of representatives from the participating educational institutions, the talented students, along with their families and friends, and Mall of Qatar’s management team. With a focus on the iconic Arabian Oryx, Qatar's national animal representing beauty and resilience, the students' artworks brilliantly amplified these qualities with their profound creativity, infusing each piece with joy and elegance.

We love that our oryx has fun patterns to represent the diversity here in Qatar”.
Simran Santosh Kadam, a student at CUC Ulster University, expressed her happiness with the final Oryx design, a product of collective effort, saying:“Bringing together nature and technology in this art project was truly a work of passion and perseverance. It required dedication and hard work from everyone involved and we’re proud of the meaningful result”.
